“Maternal mortality review panel established under the public health law”

The Department of Health and Human Services must establish a maternal mortality review panel to conduct comprehensive, multidisciplinary reviews of maternal deaths in New Hampshire to identify factors associated with the deaths and make recommendations for system changes to improve services for women. The department must submit an annual report to the state legislature describing adverse events and recommendations for system change and legislation. The panel must ensure that all information identifying individuals and facilities are removed from public records.
