The Health Research Science Board must, among their other duties, review researcher requests to use information from the pesticide sales and use computer database in their “human health related research projects.” Research requests must include an approved research proposal or protocol and a copy of their Institutional Review Board’s approval. The Board must create guidelines for restricting researcher’s dissemination of identifying information contained in the database.
