Mandatory coverage for breast cancer survivors - Conn. Gen. Stat. § 38a-503a

Individual health insurance plans and insurance arrangements may not deny coverage to an applicant due to their breast cancer history so long as the applicant has been free of breast cancer during the five years prior to their application. An insurance carrier may require an applicant with breast cancer history to obtain a physical examination.
