Requires infants to receive hearing tests within five days of their birth unless the birth parent(s) or guardian refuses to grant their informed consent for the screening. Requires providers to report screening results to the Secretary of Health and Environment. Classifies screening information obtained by the Secretary as confidential, but permits disclosure of screening results to an infant’s parent(s), guardian, or primary care physician.
