Idaho Code Ann. § 41-1335, Release of Patient Identifiable Prescription Information Prohibited — Exceptions

Prohibits persons from selling patient identifiable prescription information or including a provision in an insurance policy that authorizes the release or sale of such information unless done so in accordance with § 54-1727. Imposes a maximum $3,000 administrative penalty on persons that violate this section. Clarifies that such liability does not attach to persons that release information in good faith reliance on § 54-1727 and that such persons are immune from any resulting civil liability.
