“Genetic information for insurance purposes under the insurance law”

Genetic information may not be used by a health insurer to cancel, limit, or deny coverage or establish premium rates. Health insurers may not require or solicit genetic information, use genetic test results, or consider a person’s decisions relating to genetic testing for any insurance purpose.
