“Disciplinary proceedings under the regulation of professions and occupations law”
Orthotists, pedorthics, and prosthetists may be denied a license or face disciplinary sanctions for a variety of grounds including:
- Filing a false report or failing for file a report required by state or federal law;
- Practicing with a revoked, suspended, or inactive license;
- Failing to conformed with prevailing standards of care; and
- Making deceptive representations in the practice of orthotics, prosthetics, or pedorthics.
