“Unlicensed practice of a health care profession; intent; cease and desist notice; penalties; enforcement; citations; fees; allocation and disposition of moneys collected under the regulation of professions and occupations law”

It is unlawful to practice medicine without a valid, active license. An individual who practices medicine without a valid, active license may face an administrative fine between $500 and $5,000 and face criminal charges.
