“Right of entry and inspection under the public health law”

The Agency for Health Care Administration, the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Council, or the local long-term ombudsman council has the right to enter a nursing home facility to determine compliance of state law.

The Agency for Health Care Administration must conduct unannounced inspections every 15 months of a nursing home facility to determine compliance of state law.
