The Department of Social Services and Department of Health and Senior Services must coordinate efforts to design and implement a public education campaign for those with inadequate or no health insurance. The purpose of the program is to inform citizens of the availability and accessibility to federal and state health programs. The program may offer grants to non profit agencies to provide education opportunities, disseminate literature, and conduct informational seminars.
