Confidentiality of professional competence review records - Me. Rev. Stat. tit. 24, § 2510-A

All professional competence review (peer review) records must remain confidential and are not subject to subpoena or discovery in judicial proceedings.  The confidentiality protection does not apply when a provider contests the adverse findings of the competence review or if the professional competence committee uses the records in its own defense.
