Collaborative pharmacy practice - R.I. Gen. Laws Ann. § 5-19.2-3

Pharmacists may enter into “collaborative practice agreements” with a physician. A collaborative practice agreement must address: (1) the “site and setting” of the collaborative practice; (2) “informed consent procedures;” (3) participant qualifications; (4) the roles of health care professionals that are participating in the collaborative practice and have prescription privileges; (5) the “scope of conditions or diseases to be managed;” (6) “practice protocols;” (7) “risk management activities;” and (8) “outcome measurements.”
