Admission immediately upon determination that criteria met -- Clinical evaluation -- continued admission -- Delivery of clinical evaluation to parent.
Establishes procedures for conducting psychiatric and clinical evaluations of a minor patient upon their admission for inpatient mental health services. Requires a facility to provide the patient’s parent, guardian, or legal representatives with copies of the written evaluation. Requires facilities to make these written findings part of the patient’s medical records.
